Through a number of strategic partnerships and programs, TMA BlueTech has organized and supported various international events to increase exports from small and medium sized ocean & water companies throughout the United States. Our programs include the U.S Maritime Technology Export Initiative (USMTEI) trade shows and WEFTEC participation.
In each trade show, we will select 8-16 companies to receive fractional exhibit space in the TMA BlueTech Pavilion at a discounted cost. For the international trade shows, participant fees may also include lodging.
Fast growing startups like Sea Machines are often forced to choose between many competing promotional activities – The Maritime Alliance were indispensable in making this event the success it was.
TMA not only presented a cost effective opportunity to participate in a global event, but they provided incredible support and networking opportunities. Plus, it was fun to be part of a community!
Having the support of TMA and the US Commercial services unlocked many doors and we all had a great time in the process! We hope to continue joining TMA trade missions for many years to come.
The global Blue Economy is enormous and growing!
“The ocean economy is essential to the future welfare and prosperity of humankind… and has only recently begun to garner attention and move up the international policy agenda.”
TMA was able to organize a high visibility exhibit and facilitate industry networking. It resulted in a very valuable trade show for our company as we were able to obtain feedback on
our product, generate sales leads and gather international manufacturer representative contacts.
As a young small business, the programs offered by USMTEI, TMA, and ITA provided us with an invaluable opportunity to reach new customers and companies. We hope to participate again and would highly recommend the program.
TMA and ITA exceeded my expectations with the USMTEI. We had a packed schedule before,
at, and after Ocean Business meeting with companies and organizations in our industry. You would be hard pressed to find another way to open as many doors in such a short amount of time.
