Our program brings start ups and entrepreneurs one step closer to their goals by providing facility space and the necessary connections to bridge any gaps in their business model and needs.
At BTI, we seek to inspire, empower and ignite the passions of entrepreneurs. We provide mentors, insights to the industry and connections to potential partners around the globe.
The UN Water Action Decade (2018-2028) and the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030) were adopted to mobilize the scientific community, policy-makers, business and civil society around a program of joint research and technological innovation. BTI is aligned with these goals.
The BTI has been a great place for XST to collaborate and engage with TMA and member organizations. The space is unparalleled with respect to the class of office space. The weekly huddles are a valuable way to stay engaged and find out new ideas and opportunities.
BTI is also strategically located at Dentons’ La Jolla office; this allows BTI members to receive invaluable legal advice — an important feature that is often unavailable at other incubator programs.
With the help of the SD Foundation’s financial support to TMA and the BTI for student internships, Clear Blue Sea has benefited from the funding of 7 interns from UCSD, USD, SDSU, PLNU, and local high schools.
