BlueTech Week includes 7 events over 5 days in various locations around San Diego, California. Guests should arrange to land at San Diego International Airport (SAN), which is ideally located in the center of San Diego and less than 10 minutes from the hotel venue.
Just a half-mile from the airport, the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina is the venue for the BlueTech Summit & Tech Expo (Wednesday & Thursday), the BlueTech Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony (Wednesday evening), and the BlueTech Investors Day (Friday).
The Monday BlueTech Cluster Convening and Triple-Helix Dialogue will be held at The San Diego Foundation (10 minute drive from downtown) and the “UN Decade of Ocean Science” will be held at Scripps Institution of Oceanography in La Jolla (approx. 45 minute drive from downtown during the commute hour).
Parking is not easy, therefore it is recommended that travelers arrange for taxi service or use their favorite mobile rideshare service (Lyft, Uber, etc.). Additionally, the BlueTech Week event app provided by Whova enables attendees to arrange carpool options ahead of time.
